I have been teaching for twelve years. In that time I've learned how to appeal to my students particular interests. Some students like more folk music, other prefer classical forms or blues structures. Some students enjoy hearing about the evolution of different composers and their particular genres, while others wish to focus only on the music produced by one niche. Principally a stage performer, I've been teaching for about 5 years, beginning with a Master Class on Song Performance at the Shakespeare Theater Company. I've given individual lessons for about 2 years (professionally), specializing in musical theater and acting, helping young performers learn what I wish I had at their stage of career.
