Our first lesson for beginning students I'm going to teach the warm up. How you set up your voice to sing is important for vocal health and will teach breath control. For more advance students I want to hear what they are struggling with and what they want to improve. For most students it's belt range and pitch accuracy. After learning that career did exist, I completed my education and training to become a board certified music therapist (MT-BC). I find this course to be clearly written and easy to understand, and it offers a broad musical foundation to facillitate students as they move easily to higher levels of guitar studies. I "taught" my way through music college at a busy studio in the Philadelphia area, and always had a waiting list - from novice, to intermediate and advanced, to adult students.
