I graduated from King University in 2016 with a degree in Music Education as well as a focus in piano. Music has been my passion and focus since a very young age. I have had various piano performance opportunities. My teaching style really focuses around developing a love for your instrument. If the student loves their instrument and the music that is written for their instrument, they will feel encouraged to practice. I try to pick up on the student's personality and learning styles and make each person's lesson a combination of my teaching styles and what works best for the student. My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lessons part-time many years ago while learning piano at University and working in children's creative center. I began to teach students in my home studio. Working in Musical theater, I gained more experience teaching piano and voice, accompaniment to ballet classes and theatrical plays. My experience date back to my early college days, where I began as a volunteer piano teacher for veterans in a retirement community. I taught for a few months, when I was approached by two different women, one who wanted me to perform cover songs at the retirement facility that she managed, and another who wanted me to give her husband private music lessons.
