I first began teaching in 2012, when I gave volunteer drum lessons. Shortly after that, I began giving piano and voice lessons both in schools and one-on-one. Currently, when I'm not teaching private lessons, I work part-time as a traveling pre-school music teacher, where I teach preschoolers music with my guitar, picture books, and even puppets! I am comfortable teaching students of all ages but prefer young children, as they can benefit the most from developing a passion for their instrument, which can lead to a lifelong pursuit of music. Teaching students to play and enjoy music is extremely rewarding for me, and I love to help children and adults discover and develop their musical talents. I am a patient, positive teacher who seeks to challenge students to put forth their best effort and perform to their potential. I foster an intristic love of music to motivate my students, so that their playing (including practice time) becomes enjoyable. My instruction takes into consideration factors such as learning disabilities and developmental needs that are critical to students' success. Read More

I was fortunate to study under 2 particularily amazing teachers who offered me the best of both worlds. One was a classical vocal and piano and instructor, the other special in pop and more contemporary piano and voice. These 2 styles combined is how I teach my voice students. The combination of classical vocal technique fused with more contemporary stylings really brings any vocalist to amazing new heights and makes you a force to be reckoned with! Read More

My music teaching experience started eight years ago. I go all over New York City to my students homes to teach them private individual music lessons. You must practice five days a week at a consistent time within the day. Practice and repetition and review are major key points for any student to progress in music. Repetition and practice and review is the mother of success in music. The main reason you should take up music is that you love learning about music and love learning how to play different musical instruments. Read More
