Overview:

I come from a deep musical heritage and chose the trombone as my main instrument for spiritual reasons. While attending Los Angeles County High School for The Arts, I studied with jazz and trombone legends. Since moving to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music, I've been studying with masters from many different disciplines. I currently live in NYC where i am studying percussion, tap dancing and yoga. My home functions perfectly as a 24 hour teaching studio.

EXPERIENCE

I began teaching trombone and improvisation when I was a junior in High School. Currently I am adept in Singing, Music Theory, Trombone, Bass (-classical) and Electronic Music, but I also practice Flute, Piano, Guitar, Percussion (congas) and Tap Dancing. I have been told that I have a very unconventional teaching style, but I prefer to call it simplicity. Patience is a virtue that I cherish, but I am also very persistent in teaching the ultimate realization to my student. I have graphs and concepts to share in addition to the basic tactile lesson and I am pretty sure that I can answer any questions that you may have.

METHODS USED

Lessons are catered to the student. I have studied with pedagogical masters and I have learned how to make creativity maps. Most of your questions are simple answers for me, and most of my students experience rapid growth from the very beginning.

LESSON STYLE

Success starts with conversation. I will find out what the student is interested in learning and devise the most effiecient path to success. My methods are both scientific and tactile, and if they are followed correctly, the student is sure to experience rapid growth.

Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
