I was born in August 1984 in New Halkidona-Athens, Greece. At the age of 7, I started my musical education by taking piano lessons. I did not finish my piano studies but the fire of music was burning strong inside me, and at the age of 15 i decided to study drums. Since 2005, i have been a professional drummer and  collaborated with several notable musicians and singers such as Kostas Chronopoulos, Vox, Giannis Markopoulos, Manos Ksidous, No Balance, Teresa Panagiotopoulos, Nikos Georgousakis/M51, KARMA, and The Secret. For beginner students I like to keep to the fundamental elements of Jazz and Rock grooves while focusing on various time signatures. Another key practice we will always be refining on are the rudiments. This will keep those chops sharp for direct accuracy and speed. For my more advanced students I conduct a learning program based off the students interests in styles and advancements,doing so keeps the student engaged in the lessons with room to grow. Read More

My approach to teaching is to make it a fun and positive learning experience that they look forward to and stay inspired. Patience, encouragement and understanding of where the student is musically are crucial. I like to emphasize the idea that nothing happens overnight, only through effective practice and repetition. Having this mindset, they will no doubt see results in no time. I always like to establish a goal for each lesson, suggest cool drum videos on Youtube and make sure the student feels like they are free to ask a lot of questions if they aren't understanding something. I don't want to be too easy and I don't want to be too hard. We all have life events that keep us from practicing 16 hours a day. Also, you don't want to practice 15 minutes a week either. A good balance between work and play is needed.
