For older individuals, I prefer to work with their interests, and work towards their goals, through tailored lessons. Being a teacher is by far one of the most rewarding choices that I have ever made. Seeing a students growth and development is absolutely astounding. I believe that each student is very individualized, and no student learns exactly the same as another. As a teacher, I believe that I need to constantly be adaptable and adjustable to each student's needs. I have been passionate instructor and have been playing multi instruments for 15+ years. I graduated with a degree in Psychology and work as an ABA Therapist for autistic children. I have been in multiple bands and recorded a lot of songs. I have toured Michigan and the outer areas. I have had the opportunity to play at the Majestic Theater in Detroit, as well as St. Andrew's. I began teaching 17 years ago while completing my Master of Arts degree in Voice Performance.I have passion for teaching students of all ages the fundamentals of singing. These include breathing, posture, and mouth position.These fundamentals stand students in good stead to sing whatever style they choose for the rest of their lives.
