For the beginner learning to play the piano for the first time, I typically start with Bastiens or Alfreds piano books, theory, and technique. For Older beginners, I start with scales, theory and technique exercises combined with early repertoire and ear training. For vocal students, I focus on warm- ups, and technique exercises, followed by coaching. Work with acquiring sight singing skills, ear training, theory, technique and interpretation. Music making and teaching has been my passion since I was young. In 2020, I graduated from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Music in Choral Music Education. As a child, I participated in choir for 8 years and was in the University of Michigan's University Choir and Orpheus Singers.
