Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I love to teach students the fundamentals of singing, including breathing, posture, and mouth position. These fundamentals stand students in good stead to sing whatever style they choose for the rest of their lives.I have a passion for classical music, including art song, oratorio, and opera.I completed my Master of Arts degree in Voice Performance in 2000. For children, I do not use books or complicate bibliography to teach. I encourage children to discover music through their own curiosity. Using historical imagery and references of the natural world that surrounds us, is very effective way to help children understand music. Art contains emotion and intellect, so, my intention is that the kids explore that knowledge in a fun and joyful way. For adults, the teaching process is more focus to expand their abilities. I work out of Bastien and Alfreds book and encourage my students to perform online, family parties, and nursing homes. Tailor each lesson to the students specific strengths and areas of difficulty. And tailor repetoire to students wants and needs choosing material and approaching repetoire with the objective of maintaining students passion and enthusiasm for music while exploiting their strengths and achievement.
