My professional experience includes singing with a Chorale that performed with the Cleveland Symphony and performances as a soloist with choirs in Ohio and Michigan. For beginners I like to start with the basics of how the voice works and the proper techniques to use it. We always spend time at the end singing something they want to sing, it's important to not feel pressured into music. We will build a repertoire of songs the student is connected to and work towards a set list for a showcase. Music making and teaching has been my passion since I was young. In 2020, I graduated from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Music in Choral Music Education. As a child, I participated in choir for 8 years and was in the University of Michigan's University Choir and Orpheus Singers. I began taking private voice lessons at a late age (17 years old) and became a professional musician, so I know that it is possible to be successful even when starting later in life! Read More

For younger students, I use a variety of material but very much like The Royal Conservatory Program. In the age of, "American Idol", "The Voice" and "Glee", everyone wants to be a star overnight.
