As a vocalist, pianist, and performer myself I understand the importance of the technical aspects of singing, playing, and presenting efficiently. Having a strong vocal and performing techniques has helped me build my stamina, and become a more efficient vocalist, and overall performer. As an instructor I want to give my students this knowledge as well. I believe in age appropriate techniques and repertoire, and use both warm-ups and vocalises, along with accessible repertoire to foster technique and give students the tools they need to think through a song on their own. I follow standard Bel Canto technique for all of my students, then teach modifications for each style.
