In 2016, I relocated to Valdosta, GA, where I stayed for four years as a Visiting Assistant Professor and then as an Assistant Professor of Music. I relocated in 2020 for family reasons to the Orlando area, where I teach part time at Valencia College. Ive been teaching music lessons in piano, guitar, voice, and ukulele for 9 years. Though I was a vocal performance major in college, I am still proficient at guitar, piano, and ukulele. I love working with students who play multiple instruments or are interested in accompanying themselves while singing. I have my own method of teaching which has worked for every student I have had.  For piano, I begin teaching basic music theory and sight reading from the very first lesson. I typically use "Piano Adventures" method books as a baseline, but tailor the lessons to each student's needs.  For voice, I use a mix of karaoke tracks and light piano accompaniment to help the students learn to sing on their own.
