Instruments: Piano Voice

The most important part of teaching, for me, is to see my students developing a love for music.  Each student is different and will show their skills/talents in different ways and at different paces.  I am patient to let students grow in their own way while also challenging them to be the best they can be.  I love to laugh with my students and develop a rapport with them that makes them feel comfortable in the lesson environment. Instruments: Voice

I am a unique teacher, I believe in allowing the student to create their idea of what a vocal coach looks and sounds like, yet only the student can put their effort into making each lesson a success! I can motivate the student into putting forth that effort. Choosing a song, style and performance based on where their comfort level is, working with that, and yet challenging them along the way to be open to trying new ideas. Read More

Instruments: Piano Voice

The methods that I normally use are the Alfred Basic Piano Library, and the Faber and Faber Piano Adventures. I also use technique books such as Fingerpower, Hanon, and Czerny. I always incorporate Music Theory in my lessons as well as improvisation. i am familiar with the Royal Conservatory of Music technical requirements and find them necessary to any student wanting to become proficient at piano/keyboard playing. I use may online worksheets for theory, improvisation and fun repertoire as well. i am open to the needs of the student but also have a structured method of teaching so that all aspects of the music learning process is followed. Ive been teaching music lessons in piano, guitar, voice, and ukulele for 9 years. Though I was a vocal performance major in college, I am still proficient at guitar, piano, and ukulele. I love working with students who play multiple instruments or are interested in accompanying themselves while singing. Aside from teaching, I also dabble as a singer songwriter, occasionally playing around Orlando. I graduated from Rollins College with a degree in vocal performance in 2014. Read More

Blanche Marie L

Instruments: Piano Voice Flute Piccolo

Knowing that people learn through a variety of methods, Blanche Marie draws from several well known method books to personalize the instruction to the pupil's needs and strengths. She believes that choosing one method book for every student doesn't make sense because each student's needs are different. The method books used depend on the needs of the students and the instruments they are learning. Blanche Marie tries to incorporate duets within the lesson whenever possible to assist the student in growing from playing notes to making music. Read More
