I became a professional musician at the age of 16. I've traveled around the world and parts of the US. I started playing Rock and Roll music until I was 25. At that time I decided to get a formal music training with piano and theory. I auditioned and received scholarships in music to Seminole Community College and University of Central Florida. Upon graduation I became a staff musician at Walt Disney World. Read More

I have been teaching for 9 years and have experience with a wide range of student ages and abilities. Ive had several students stay with me long enough to progress from the very beginning stages of learning piano all the way to a fairly advanced level. I love watching students learn and become better musicians. Many of my students start lessons on one instrument and decide they want to try another (usually piano and guitar) and I encourage this variety! Read More

I want my students to have a very strong foundation in all musical elements while still being able to relate and experiences music in their own way. For beginning students, I would definitely start them in a beginning method book whether it be Essential Elements or Standard of Excellence. It is important for every student to have a basic grasp of all the musical elements- rhythm, melody, harmony, form, and expression. Read More

I love teaching music is my passion, I try to give a free way of learning to each student where they will feel the music as a wonderful art of life, the progress will be something quite natural as I approach them into a good technique combining their own personal inspiration, I love to teach some composition too, so they will develop their creativity in their own work. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with the Suzuki Method and playing by ear. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire on sheet music appropriate for their level of performance. It is important to stress the fundamentals of technique for my beginner students before just playing music. I like to incorporate music theory within their lessons, so not only are they able to hear a piece of music and can start playing but can also read sheet music that is put in front of them. Read More

In middle and high school, I performed on saxophone, bassoon, drum set, all percussion, and guitar every year. I performed jazz, classical, military, big band, and marching band music. Served as head of the drumline in high school and taught many musicians how to perform on the snare drum, multi-tenors, bass drums, and mallet percussion. In college, I got more busy with schoolwork :( but I had time to compose music on my own and join a local pop-punk band called Shout London. Read More
