I love for each student to leave their lesson excited about the music they create! I am an encouraging teacher, but I help my students set realistic goals (and stretch goals!) that keep them motivated to progress in their musicianship. How our lessons progress really depends on the student in question. If they would like to pursue competitions, I am well equipped to help. If they choose to develop their skills in a lower stakes environment without any competitions, that's also completely fine. Read More

I've had many stellar students from Russia, Georgia, China, Japan, and The United States take lessons to earn degrees but also several who took lessons as a secondary instrument for the love of it. Many pursue other careers but still have the skills to accompany a choir for example, or learn piano in order to sing by developing their listening skills. I plan to pass down the tools needed to play piano which is so important for any child's education. Read More

Music has been my passion from a very early age. I have learned through my years as an educator that sharing this passion with others is just as rewarding as personal experience or success. I greatly enjoy performing as much as I can myself but helping students achieve their own personal musical goals has become one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life. I look forward to meeting new students and learning about their passions and goals so that I can help them find the most rewarding path possible! Read More
