I have been teaching music for over 18 years, primarily guitar. I have taught music for retail, private learning and performing arts centers. I have taught electric and acoustic guitar, bass, mandolin, music theory, sight reading, scales and modes, and improvisation. I have also taught all styles of music including rock, jazz, blues, country, and classical. I have taught students from the ages of 5 up to 80 years old. I also did guitar clinics for a number of guitar companies including JB Player Guitars, Cool Picks Guitar Picks, and Hohner Guitars for six years. I teach out of a number of method books including Mel Bay, Alfred Guitar Method, Ernie Ball Guitar Method, and The Guitar Grimiore Book for the more advanced students. I also have a method of learning 5 songs in a month. I studied music at Lake Sumter Community College. There I studied music theory, music appreciation, music history, jazz, music composition, music scoring, and music arranging. I have done guitar lessons and guitar clinics for JB Player Guitars, and Cool Pick Guitar Picks. I have played all over the country and done session work on a number of recording, as well as worked on sound tracks for documentaries.
