My experience in teaching started on ships when people would approach me from different departments and ask to learn to sing. Most of the people were dancers who wanted to expand their skill sets to get higher paid positions. It soon expanded to the other Vocalists who wanted to expand their range and styles. Particularly in Opera and with their belt range. At Georgia Southern University, Repp developed the Master of Music in Music Technology Degree and undergraduate degrees and certificates in music technology. He maintained the recording studio, Music Computer-assisted Instruction Lab, and Electronic/Digital Music Studios. While at Terra State College in Ohio, Repp implemented a new college music program, centering the degrees on music technology.
