My parents were opera singers, I grew up in a Latin American setting, and I performed with a symphony orchestra at the age of 13. I have taught piano to students of all levels and ages. Ive been teaching music lessons in piano, guitar, voice, and ukulele for 9 years. Though I was a vocal performance major in college, I am still proficient at guitar, piano, and ukulele. I use the McClosky Technique for vocal relxation when teaching voice. This is a hands on method stressing easy singing and designed not to damage voices. On guitar I stress music theory and basic technique to allow the student to develop his or her own style.
