I grew up singing in the children's choruses of The Metropolitan Opera and NYC Opera, dancing at The School of American Ballet in The Julliard School at Lincoln Center. I earned a college preparatory diploma from The Manhattan School of Music and went on to earn my BM and MM at Westminster Choir College (a world renowned choral conservatory in Princeton, NJ). After that I moved back to NYC where I maintained a wonderful studio of singers and some pianists for about five years. 6 years ago I moved out to New Haven where I have made my home. Read More

In 2017, I graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a degree in Music, concentration in Classical Voice. From there Ive been working on my masters at the University of Bridgeport in Music Education. I will obtain that degree in December of 2019. I work with the student and their needs. I don't want to jump too far ahead or go to slow , so I work with the student and figure out their speed to determine where we go each and every lesson. I believe in being honest with how you are feeling in that moment and encourage my students to utile those emotions for singing. In voice, I let my students' goals guide their lessons. Whether it be stage performance, studio recording or personal satisfaction, I will use a variety of techniques to help them reach their individual goals. In violin and viola, I teach the Suzuki method combined with some contemporary and fun improvisation. I teach theory, but also how to communicate with musicians in general. I am a huge fan of the electric violin/fiddle and am comfortable teaching tecniques and about the equipment needed to play. Read More

I started teaching about 3 years ago, and have been consistently going to various students' homes for lessons, voice and violin alike. I have worked with all ages, from 5 years old to over 60 years old. Making sure my students constantly practice is definitely one of my key points I focus on. From 2013 - 2021, I lived in the Czech Republic, developing personal and collaborative projects outside of classical music such as singing and composing for Yo Soy Indigo (freak-folk-jazz), Looncall (dark electronic), as well as solo performances of original music. I have a deep appreciation for all genres and love to flow through them in my vocal performance and composition styles. As a child, I was endlessly inspired by my piano teacher. She was quirky and unconventional, never wanting music to feel like a "chore." When I would get frustrated with myself, she'd throw up her hands and exclaim, "let's take a break and jam!"
