While I aim to help students become their best, I ultimately want them to have fun above all else. I believe progress looks different for everyone, and I am very patient and happy to go over something more than once. Learning an instrument is more of a marathon than a sprint in my eyes, and I hope to guide each student on their own musical path. Apart from treating time as the precious resource it is (meaning I will give your time the utmost respect and expect the same from you) . . . my style is friendly, patient, and "open" to an extreme. I am an encouraging teacher, but I help my students set realistic goals (and stretch goals!) that keep them motivated to progress in their musicianship. How our lessons progress really depends on the student in question. If they would like to pursue competitions, I am well equipped to help. She believes that choosing one method book for every student doesn't make sense because each student's needs are different.
