While I aim to help students become their best, I ultimately want them to have fun above all else. I believe progress looks different for everyone, and I am very patient and happy to go over something more than once. My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lessons part time 7 years ago, and have been consistently teaching students in my music school for the last 6 years. Thanks to a flexible schedule and a modern approach to learning, my students began to quickly learn the program of singing and their age and the number began to increase rapidly. There are many preparatory series available for beginning students. I am not particular about which series I work with. Often there are students with previous instructors and I have no trouble picking up where the student left off. I can recommend books or a series as well as supplemental skills practice books. Not being able to hit certain notes can be physical or psychological. A good coach can suss out what the problem is and help which is why having a coach you can trust and feel comfortable with is important. At Georgia Southern University, Repp developed the Master of Music in Music Technology Degree and undergraduate degrees and certificates in music technology. He maintained the recording studio, Music Computer-assisted Instruction Lab, and Electronic/Digital Music Studios. While at Terra State College in Ohio, Repp implemented a new college music program, centering the degrees on music technology.
