I started taking piano lessons when I was eight years old, and continued lessons through high school and for a few semesters in college. I started singing in choir when I was 10 years old, and have been in one or more choirs ever since! I am a native of Russia. In 2001 I moved to the United States. In 2005 I became a US citizen. I studied music for seven years to earn my Bachelor of Arts degree in vocals and piano. I studied six more years in conservatory to obtain my Masters degrees in music performance and education. I love to teach and to see my students progress in their musical studies.
