There is nothing more rewarding than knowing that I have shared my knowledge and passion with a student and they grew from it. I believe that every student learns differently, so I teach lessons according to how they learn. For beginner students who are adults, I tend to begin with Alfreds Basic Adult All in One Course. It is a wonderful book that teaches beginning theory and piano concepts at the perfect pace for adult students. As we progress through the book together, I begin to give pieces such as Clementis Sonatina in C (first movement). We start at a slower tempo and work each hand individually until the student is comfortable to try both hands. Read More

I love being able to send students on their way for the day knowing that they put their best foot forward.
