I am a trained, experienced violin teacher with a passion for classical, baroque and chamber music. I have a BA and MA degrees in Education and am licensed by State of New Jersey Department of Education. I teach from beginning to advanced level students, ages 7 to adults. Every new student comes to their first lesson with particular skills and musical interests. My job is to assess the students abilities and lead them down the appropriate paths to achieving their musical goals. My goal is to cultivate musicianship.  Students are encouraged to develop technical skills as a means of creative and emotional expression.  Sight reading and improvisation are taught simultaneously with music theory and composition. My musical expereince is mostly classical, beginning at around age 8. Since then, I have studied with several teachers of the New Jersey Symphony as well as graduates of the Juliard School in New York. In the summer of 2011, I traveled to Italy where I continued my study of Italian language, art and music before graduating in the Spring of 2012. I began playing cello in elementary school and started teaching cello lessons while I was in middle school. I love to teach and share music with my students.
