I Started with music 17 years now . I began age 10 with cello. 2 years later started the guitar. Picked up along the way electric bass, upright bass, ukulele , mandolin , banjo, basic piano and learning accordion. All middle and high school was in the orchestra. Graduated 2009, then attended Lone-star for 2 years taking music classes. I was in a band for about 3 years. We did some events, but then I decide to leave. For beginning students, I always start with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements. I've found this book to be the best at introducing the instrument and reading the music. I may or may not continue teaching out of the books (there's 3), but that depends on the student. By book 2 or 3 I usually begin introducing Suzuki, as there are many solo pieces for them. Suzuki is also great for teaching technique, which is essential to their skill-set. Read More

In 2010 I graduated from Evangel University with a Bachelors of Music Education degree with a concentration in strings. I have performed all over the U.S. in my collegiate touring orchestra and even had the opportunity to go to Europe and perform there as well.
