Music theory and aural skills are of the utmost importance to me, and I look to enforce them in every aspect of music studies. I strongly believe in adapting curriculum to what works best for each individual student. I understand that each student is unique; therefore, their studies should be specialized for their interests and goals. I love teaching! I am creative, enthusiastic, loving and fun. I have a bachelor of music from Northwestern State University, where I graduated summa cum laude in 2004. I went on to start my masters degree work at the University of Texas in Austin. From there I built a highly successful studio of 60 students, many of whom went to state competitions, won awards and even went on to obtain their degrees in music. Read More

I began teaching about 4 years ago, I worked for TakeLessons in which I did both Online lessons and face-to-face. I pride myself in making my students succeed, I’ve had students start taking lessons with me starting in the lowest orchestra and after some months they are in the top orchestra and in a couple of occasions they were also first chair. Some schools you may be familiar with are Suzuki, Czerny, Galamian, Flesch, Hanon, Mayron Cole, and many others. I tailor my lessons to fit the current needs of every student.
