I am a firm believer that every person should have some sort of musical experience to enrich their lives. Teaching music has been a deep commitment and passion for the last 20 years. For all my cello students, I start with 170 Foundation Studies and a modified Suzuki Method (Cello). I start with the basics, building solid technique and gradually introducing more challenging pieces. I love incorporating short theory lessons as my students advance, and with my younger students, I play theory games so they can remember music being made fun! While I use traditional method books, such as Suzuki, I also incorporate pieces my students want to learn. (Example: Disney songs). Read More
