I began teaching about 4 years ago, I worked for TakeLessons in which I did both Online lessons and face-to-face. I pride myself in making my students succeed, I’ve had students start taking lessons with me starting in the lowest orchestra and after some months they are in the top orchestra and in a couple of occasions they were also first chair. I have been a musician almost my whole life, starting out as a singer in a children's church choir when I was five. I started playing cello in the fourth grade through the public school system in California. I am classically trained, but I love all different styles of music. I started my own studio at the age of 23. I found this to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. In 2000, I entered the Music Education program at The University of Memphis. I continue to teach privately. I have taught children as young as 5 to adults of the age of 72. I have also taught string orchestra for 12 years. I'm a cellist, composer, and a passionate teacher of many instruments. I've worked with students as young as 2 and as old as 90. My students have gotten in to region, all-state, college music programs, prestigious summer festivals, and placed in national competitions. I've taught children with autism, ADHD, and dyslexia.
