I believe that communication is the essence and purpose of music, and good technique cannot be divorced from performance. Im willing to try a new music style; if one loves a piece one will practice it in addition to the given piece that develops his(her) finger technique, dynamics, phrasing, articulation, so children can perform a song rather than simply reproduce notes.
