Most of the time, I start beginners off with a book such as A Tune A Day, Suzuki Violin School, String Builder, or the Hal Leonard. I now currently teach both privately and at a private studio in Queens. My teaching method is highly evolved, tuning into the personality and capabilities of each student, reacting lesson by lesson to offer material and methods that will be most helpful to them. We will work on strengthening the breathing apparatus to be able to produce a pure clear tone that is without distortion. From there we work on being able to keep that same sound thought the full range of the instrument. Read More
