I love helping my students find their paths on their instruments and in music. Through finding their paths and following their inspiration I impart proper music techniques and ideals. I hold a Masters Degree from the Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelors Degree from Berklee College of Music. I'm an active performer and have performed with groups on Captiol and Warner Brothers Records. I have performed extensively throughout the USA, Canada, and Europe.
I first began teaching while attending Berklee. I would substitute teach for upper classmen in local music schools in the Boston area. After Berklee I taught full time for one year at a local music store. While attending MSM I taught group classes in New York City middle schools on Clarinet and Flute. After MSM I started my full time teaching studio where I was on faculty at 3 schools in the Westchester area. I love helping my students find their joy and excitement in music. I encourage live performance, taking part in local competitions, and composing their own original material. I'm always looking forward to helping a student create their own music.
My philosphy for all my students is that any student can achieve any goal if they believe in themselves and put in steady effort. One of my major teaching methods involves learning music the student listens to regularly. So much is learned from this process be it technique, time, rhythm, theory, but the most important part is that the students love and understanding of music grows, not just their knowledge. Method books, listening exercises, and play-along companion cds also make up a large part of my methods.
I love helping my students discover what inspires them about music. Through working with each student's individual needs I am able to tailor my lessons to match them perfectly. My goal is to bring out the joy in music for my students.

Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
OkAre you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
