I use a variety of materials for voice students. I may ask that my voice students purchase books of repertoire that contain songs useful for building on their strengths and working on their weaknesses. My teaching is very goal-oriented. Some adults may want the satisfaction of simply playing Blues, or Fur Elise, or "Don't Stop Believin'" for their own enjoyment, and we work through the music easily as their practice time allows.
