From the Midwest to the Southwest: I taught students at Los Angeles schools and privately there also. I am very positive about teaching my students. I have the knowledge to teach about the theory, technique and flow of the music up through the intermediate level. I don't necessarily stay with the music until it is perfect, because as the student learns more they can always come back to it and play it better. I love setting lofty, reasonably challenging goals for my students and giving them music they think is too hard to play, and then watching their faces light up when they hit all the right notes they didn't know were possible to hit.
