I have been teaching piano since 2005 and been very active in Greater Boston area since 2014. I've had students aged from 4 to mid-50. I also worked as a tutor at Berklee College of Music during my study. Dicipline may be the most important thing to emphasize in the very beginning stage of learning. I began teaching private guitar lessons while I was still in high-school. After I completed my degree at Berklee in 2004, I began teaching six days a week. Since then, I've consistently maintained a roster of 30-40 weekly students in addition an active gig-schedule. As every student has different needs I dont have a specific plan that I follow. Rather I like to adapt my lesson plans to each individual students goals and playing ability. I always have my students work on a mixture of technique, etudes, and solo repertoire. For very early beginners I like to work out of Trever Wyes Very First Flute Book and his Beginners Book for the Flute. I also like the book Forty Little Pieces in Progressive Order for Beginner Flutists and from there progress to First Solos for the Flute Player. Read More
