I am a full time performer and music instructor who works with all ages and various levels. I perform multiple times a week at public and private events like bars, weddings, and farmer's markets doing a wide variety of styles. I have an extensive repertoire of over 8hrs of pop, rock, RB, and more, in addition to over 2 hours of children's music. I began teaching private drum set lessons during my first year as an Eastern Illinois University student. I taught lessons for just about three years while in college. At one point, I had about 14 students to teach and fit into my busy schedule. I've learned a lot from that experience and now know how to manage time efficiently with a heavy teaching load. I am a graduate of Lawrence University with a BA in Music (Piano) and German. I've played piano for almost 20 years, but in college performed more with voice. In college as a BA candidate I was able to take a variety of lessons, including classical piano (my major), jazz piano, classical voice, and jazz voice. One of my favorite projects in college included a recital comprised of all the types of music I love playing and learning about such as a solo piano piece, a few piano duets, a piecewhere I sang and accompanied myself, a vocal jazz small group, and a few others. I received a BA Degree in music at Columbia College back 2001. My Major was Music Education and my minor was Child Development . I also a piano accompanist at Tuesday morning bible class at my church Since 2015. I sings in the church choir for 23 years . I started learning how to play the piano at ages 7 and a half. I continue to studied music in grammar and in high school. I played in the Jazz band once in College and played the keyboard at the Jazz Summer Festival once 21 years ago. Read More

I offer classes for adults and children according to the Seth Riggs and Brett Manning techniques, with the help of which the vocal apparatus and natural resonators are developed to the maximum. We study the theory for the vocalist, modern styles. We will practice a sense of rhythm, improvisation, work with a microphone. I work with picking, range, smooth transitions of registers, filling voice, vibration. I show a variety of vocal sounds and manners, helping to personalize the singing style. Read More

In May of 2015, I graduated from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University with a Performance degree in Jazz and Contemporary Music Studies.
