I'm receiving my Master Degree in trumpet performance at Brigham Young University. I received my undergraduate degree in music education from Stephen F. Austin State University. I'm well versed in many different styles of music including jazz, rock, and classical. Teaching trumpet is my favorite passion and I take extreme pride in watching my students grow through lessons. I use the Suzuki Method throughout my teaching process. I think it is a great bases for teaching the techniques necessary to master the violin/viola. I also use various scale books (according to level) to teach note reading, sight reading, and basic music theory.
