Instruments: Piano

I like to teach each student or client that I work with as I assess what is best for each individual. I am very organized in my work to always be aware of where each person that I work with is at and which way each person is going as I work with him/her. I adapt each program to the individual so that there is no confusion, misunderstanding, or misinterpretation of people involved with the teaching in any way. Read More

My teaching style is to keep things relaxed while learning the discipline and focused needed to master the instrument. I teach them how music is made and structured, not just how to play songs. I teach them how to learn the songs rather than just showing them how to play it. I give them all the tools they need to be a strong musician and a profession in today's modern world. Read More

My experience as a teacher covers teaching guitar to beginners and intermediate level children and adults. As a private teacher, I usually go to the student's preferred location to teach. Here in America, I also worked as a teacher's aide at Sterling Elementary School in Tooele-UT. This experience gave me even more ease in teaching children, who naturally need a very attentive and patient approach. I believe that my role as a teacher is for the student to learn to play the instrument in an easy, pleasant and intuitive way, based on theoretical and practical learning in an combined way. My teaching experience dates back to my time in high school where I taught a few of my peers in informal lessons, this evolved into adopting a few more formal students that I taught through highschool until they reached an advanced level. I have also helped several of my students grow into songwriting outside of just playing an instrument. I also have experience teaching basic music theory. And have played and love teaching many genres. Read More

My favorite part about teaching is teaching beginners. It's so much fun to introduce a brand new instrument to someone and show them all that learning music has to offer. I mainly focus on the basics of music, and music theory in order to give students the tools they need to teach themselves when I'm not around, or if lessons have to discontinue for some reason. Once the basics of music theory have been grasped, it makes learning the technical aspects of the new instrument much faster, and easier. Read More
