This allows me the freedom to tailor the instruction to the specific needs of the student and successfully find what creates their individual passion. I also believe that - especially in creative mediums like music and art - every negative critique I point out needs to be accompanied by at least two positive critiques. I have been teaching for 5 years, ever since of friend of mine asked for some lessons to help him get back to singing. I loved the direct connection to this very personal aspect of peoples' lives, and I felt humbled by the trust I was given.
