My passion is to pass on the ability to express ones self through music whether it be flute or piano. Instruments: Piano
I was brought up learning the Suzuki Method of Piano. This method has its benefits, but I also utilize other methods such as Faber's Piano Adventures or Clark's The Music Tree. Developing a good ear is essential when trying to express yourself musically. Piano technique is also essential when trying to execute what you want at the right moment. With an emphasis on technique and listening, I motivate my students to also read the music and to interpret the only source that is made available to them. Read More

I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love for music. I believe in having fun while learning, and building my lessons around what the students are interested in when teaching the fundamentals of playing. I have been professionally performing since 2008, from major venues to private events. I have learned not only the ins and outs of playing a guitar, but also how to really bring a song to life and connect with an audience. Read More

I am a thoughtful, enthusiastic violin teacher who loves working with students of all ages and levels. In 2017, I graduated from Purchase Conservatory in Westchester, New York with a Master of Music in Violin Performance. Performing all over the world has made me extremely grateful for my ability to be a freelance musician and teacher; I have toured throughout China and France and while living in New York City performed at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center with various string ensembles. My ultimate goal would be to guide students through their growth in music and abilities. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing that I have shared my knowledge and passion with a student and they grew from it. I believe that every student learns differently, so I teach lessons according to how they learn. I set up realistic goals for every lesson and I acknowledge progress and accomplishments to help fuel a students desire to continue in music. Read More
Instruments: Flute Piccolo
I have been passionate about music and teaching from a very young age. I began playing the flute at age 10 and eagerly continued, participating in every musical opportunity I had in middle school, high school, and college. In 2010, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Susquehanna University with my Bachelors in Music degree in Music Education with a concentration in flute. Immediately after graduating, I took an orchestra director position in Charlotte, North Carolina where I have been teaching for the last five years. Read More
