I started leading choirs as a teenager and have grown from there. I've taught theory and composition internationally (See a final project video on my profile), and taught violin and viola here in the States. I like to emphasize the importance of theory and composition throughout all lessons, as well as learning by play - music is an art of expression first and foremost. I started playing piano since I was in age 4. I graduated from Soochow University in Taiwan with my bachelor degree and Peabody Conservatory with a master degree and Graduate Performance Diploma. During the past two years, I got full assistantship in Accompanying at Peabody. I was grateful for having chances to perform recitals (solo chamber) in many different halls both in Taiwan and USA.
