All of my students have the same basic foundation. On top of that foundation we add in specific tutorials geared towards the type of music that they want to plat. We identify key elements and styles within that genre of music that their interest in. Then I construct a specific lesson plan geared towards that particular style. My experience date back to my early college days, where I began as a volunteer piano teacher for veterans in a retirement community. I taught for a few months, when I was approached by two different women, one who wanted me to perform cover songs at the retirement facility that she managed, and another who wanted me to give her husband private music lessons. I performed for a few years during college, but stopped teaching after my only student moved away. Read More

My teaching experience began in college as an arranger, and in assisting staff at Rickards high school in Tallahassee I later became the percussion instructor at Deerfield beach high school, and the brass director at Miami carol city senior high, I am currently the assistant band director, and assistant conductor at Miramar high school.
