I like finding what your personal goals are and helping you get there. I like to coach by correcting form and style, but working on music and projects that YOU love and letting you experiment and have fun! Practice shouldn't feel like practice. Practice IS performance. The way you play at home is the way you'll play in front of other people. We'll touch up the details in the studio, then you'll be free and fearless in front of any crowd. Read More

All student clients receive artist development training according to their level of skill, I will complete a basic assessment to find out student goals and dreams. I will give students a professional critique of their performance or skill. Together we devise a performance action plan which outlines the students creative journey and desired outcome. if students would like to perform, they will have an option to perform at their desired place. (school, church, event, video etc.) Students receive a performance assessment which may or may not lead to additional advance training. Read More

I am a Concert Band Director having done so for 10 years in a private school which was a great joy for me. Read More

I began by tutoring my fellow students during college. Little by little, I realized that I was becoming more passionate about seeing the students progress and achieve the goals they set for themselves. There is almost no greater feeling than accomplishing a goal, and even though I always acknowledge and encourage students on their accomplishments, I believe there's always another step to take, another skill to master. I also believe, especially with beginners, that rooting a students skill with the bare basics is essential to understanding music. Read More

All of my methods are written by me. I have found that going with the typical books slows down the rate of learning, because no two students are alike. I have taken students with no prior experience and in the same time that they would finish "book 1" I have them onstage playing in front of crowds. Read More
