In middle and high school, I performed on saxophone, bassoon, drum set, all percussion, and guitar every year. I performed jazz, classical, military, big band, and marching band music. I started giving lessons soon after and in 2007 I was offered the oppurtunity to be the drumline instructor for a local high school. I would teach there until 2012. I wrote exercises, cadences, their show music, and taught them all the fundementals of marching and proper playing technique.
