I was born in 1999 in Caracas Venezuela. I started my music journey at the age of 8 playing the drums at the Yamaha academy. Then I started with the bass guitar. Then at the age of 15 I started to learn guitar all by myself. I went to full sail to learn how to produce and record music. Which I love ! I am well versed in music theory and I know my instruments very well. I play genres such as metal, hardcore, rock, shoegaze, jazz, avant-garde, and more! I believe that music has the power to change lives.
I am fairly young and just starting in the world of teaching. Although I have been there as a student since the age of 8 year olds. Always getting inspired by my professor at the academy. I also helped around the academy teaching little kids how to play drums and jamming with them so they can learn how to rock out with a full band and fall in love with playing with people and make good connections. I also have a lot of experience in bands (I have been in more than 7) right now I’m working on a project as the lead member. Writing, singing and playing guitar.
For younger students I start with showcasing what they can achieve with practice and perseverance. I do that by showing my playing. Then we start with the chromatic scale so the fingers can get use to the strings and moving around the fretboard. Same with drums but we start with easy hits and patterns. For adults I would talk about what are their interest and goal in music (genre, style, job, etc) and go from there. In both scenarios I would be using books to assist and better the learning process
When I assisted in the academy, and jammed with the kids who were learning drums. I looked at their faces and nothing brought more joy to my heart that knowing that those kids found passion in music; the same way I did when I was younger. I can’t wait to teach more formal lessons specially now that I’m older. Just teaching my first student and inspiring them into making music would be something amazing beyond any of the music accomplishment I have had thus far. I truly can’t wait!
