For all students I typically teach from Musicians Institute’s curriculum. This curriculum is tailored in a clear and concise form to progress chronologically from the bottom up. The books I use can help to develop performance, reading, and technique etc at levels beginner through advanced. Most kids I try to teach with additional factors to keep lessons entertaining, and for adults I try to give them as much information as possible while catering to where they are trying to get as a drummer as opposed to the overall knowledge a kid needs. I like too see where the study is playing-wise and design a custom learning plan for the student and his/her goals and help them reach their goals quicker with a planned practice schedule. I also start students off with reading which helps them better understand rhythm and being able to read music is a huge plus in todays music world.     I have now been giving private lessons for around 8 years and enjoy it very much. I love to help people grow and watch them enjoy the gift they have. In my lessons, students learn techniques, concepts, musicianship, rudiments/fundamentals, and much more. I resigned from a job in 2015 to pursue my music career which includes teaching drums. I have been a very active performing drummer for the past 20 years. I recorded three albums that were released worldwide with my band Scelerata. I did five Brazilian tours (50+ shows) as Paul DiAnno’s (former Iron Maiden’s lead singer) official drummer, from 2009 to 2014. In May 2017 I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Music degree in Professional Music (Drum Set Performance Music Production). I like to work on specific songs the student wants to learn or use other pieces that apply directly to what the student is trying to achieve.
