Currently, I work as a piano accompanist and lesson instructor at a K-8 music school. This occupation allows me to work with a wide variety of students with different interests and ability levels. It has been extremely rewarding to help these students grow and appreciate music in deeper ways. Throughout high school and college I would also teach multiple students with different instruments. I believe that communication is the essence and purpose of music, and good technique cannot be divorced from performance. Regular lessons usually consist of reviewing exercises, etudes, and songs that were assigned from the previous lesson and then making adjustments as needed.
