My teaching experience began in 2013, whilst attending university. Since then I have taught private lessons in students' homes and at studios on a part time basis. My emphasis with students begins with two things: creating a practice routine, and building fundamental singing techniques to create bodily awareness. The voice is the most personal of all instruments. No matter what level or age you are, singing is a powerful way to portray emotions and stories. I love tailoring each lesson for each student to ensure that they are enjoying themselves and acheiving their goals in a healthy way. The atmosphere of my lessons is always calm, happy, playful, and fun. Each lesson varies according to the needs and level of the student. A typical lesson starts out with a greeting and catch up on the students week, then we get into some kind of technique exercise, scales, and arpeggios. Then we move onto a fun musical piece.
