I graduated with my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Musical Theater from the prestigious College Conservatory of Music at The University of Cincinnati (CCM) in 2016. CCM is the oldest Musical Theater program in the United States, with dozens of students working on Broadway. Nothing is more important than the student enjoying themselves. I want to encourage my students' passion for music by allowing them to learn at their own pace. I believe in encouragement and positive reinforcement, I will never discourage a student to study music. Music is for everyone and should never be considered out of reach for anyone. I believe in acquiring a global understanding through a multiplicity of styles. Jazz and classical are my points of departure and then I incorporate different material as you develop your skills. I have several method books that I use including "Mastering Piano Technique", "Manual of Scales and Arpeggios", "The Jazz Theory Book" and "Harmony and Theory" by Keith Wyatt to name a few.
