I would begin each lesson with a vocal warmup so that I can see where their tone is placed and if they are an alto/soprano/tenor/etc. I would ask what genres they are interested in or what types of music they like. If they have a song they'd want to learn, we would practice that song and work on technique so that they can perform it in a healthy and confident way. Read More

I have been teaching voice lessons for more than five years. I have taught a range of students from 10 years to young adults. I believe in creating a safe space for artists to learn how to use their instrument to the best of their abilities. I believe practice, patience, and joy make for incredible artists. I believe it is my job to help a singer find their voice by eliminating any strain, stress, or tension that the singer may force upon their voice. Read More

My teaching methods are essentially designed to give the student maximum command of his/her skills on their chosen instrument. First, all students must know the music essentials and the masters, especially on their instrument. Technique must be perfected by daily practice. I seek from every individual the highest level that they can attain to. No one knows exactly what that is but what is surprising and refreshing are the boundaries once thought impossible to accomplish have been broken. Read More

I have been teaching since before I even went to college. My teaching experience, professionally, began in 2018. In 2019, I began college at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette for vocal music. After that, I went on to teach more voice lessons, and added on piano, ukulele, guitar, and even theatre. Currently, I am an elementary music teacher in the Bronx and East Harlem. Outside of teaching, I love to perform. Read More

I am an ambitious and open-minded teacher always looking to better myself and my students. I have been playing the piano for 11 years in addition to singing for 5 years. Although I am trained classically in piano and voice, I also like to work at a variety of genres as well as learn other instruments. It's always fun, especially with my students, to explore different flavors music has to offer. As of now, I teach Music and Chess at an academy and summer camp in Jersey City and study Music Education at William Paterson University. Read More
