With my new beginning students, who don’t have much experience, we start with the fundementals - singing posture, breathing, basic warm ups and their importance, music theory, and simple repertoire. For my more intermediate, advanced students, I will check to see where your fundementals are, and help you blossom from there. In 2012, I graduated with my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Michigan, with a Minor in French and Francophone Studies. In my career, I frequently perform in Opera, Musical Theater, Jazz, and Dance, believing that a strong technique and performance principles can carry through genres. More recently I have had the pleasure of conducting several masterclasses in China, where I was made an honourary professor, University of Toronto and Gordon College in Massachusetts.
